A visit to India International Trade Fair 2021 was organised by PGDM department for the students with the aim to provide them exposure about entrepreneurship development and self sufficiency. This year the theme of the fair was ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’. Students got an insight about MSMEs and understood the motto of “get vocal for local.” They visited SARAS Aajeevika Mela, which is geared at promoting artisans in rural India and has over 300 craftspeople and self-help groups from all over the country. The Hunar Haat was a fantastic attraction at the fair, with handicrafts, artworks, jewellery, and clothing on display. The Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, which celebrated the India’s 75th year of independence, was also held at the trade fair. The students also observed the intrepid attitude of India’s business community, which has experienced enormous obstacles as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak. Students also got exposure many specialties of different states and union territories, all of which were beautifully embellished with vibrant colours and creativity.
