About the programme
B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication is a three-year undergraduate program exclusively designed to prepare students for the continuously evolving media & communication industry. The program outline is prepared to offer a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure to the students through subjects like Print Media, Electronic Media, New Media and AD & Public Relation etc. Throughout this program, students are encouraged to prepare portfolios, short films and research projects in the form of assignments. Classroom and outdoor activities are conducted to enhance students’ media communication skills. Our students can opt their career as Radio Jockeys, Radio Producers, Anchors, TV Broadcasters, TV Producers, Filmmakers, Editors Creative/Script Writers, Advertising Executives, Corporate Communication Professionals, Digital Media Professionals, News reporter, Media researcher, Photojournalist, Public relations specialist, Video jockey etc.

- Media knowledge: Identify and interpret the media sources, message, channel and audience.
- Students will be equipped to conceptualize, create, design, and strategies high-quality media content for print, TV, radio, films and various digital platforms like social media, mobile etc.
- Students will develop an understanding of various media tools, techniques and software.
- Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques and tools to record, edit, share, broadcast/publish and analyse the media content (electronic, print and social media) with an understanding of the limitations.
